The Endurance Project Tucson – Cyclists Delivering Compassion Year-Round
The Endurance Project is a Tucson-based nonprofit founded by cyclists who believe the bicycle is more than a means of transportation—it’s a bridge. From its grassroots beginnings over 15 years ago, our team has used bikes to reach those experiencing homelessness and hardship in Tucson’s most overlooked corners. On two wheels, we go where cars can’t and connect in ways few others can.
Our mission is simple: to help people endure. Through year-round efforts, we provide individuals facing extreme poverty with care kits packed with food, clothing, hygiene products, first aid, and other essentials. Whether it’s the sweltering heat of summer or the cold nights of winter, we ride out to meet people where they are—with dignity, without judgment.
We mobilize hundreds of volunteers annually to build and distribute care kits, often delivering them by bike directly to those living on the streets. These personal encounters create moments of compassion and connection that can be just as vital as the supplies we bring.
Becoming an El Tour de Tucson charity partner is a natural extension of who we are. Cyclists founded this project. Cyclists power it forward. By riding with Team Endurance Project, participants aren’t just logging miles—they’re delivering hope, visibility, and life-sustaining resources to our community’s most vulnerable.
Ride with us. Fundraise with us. Help Tucson endure.
